Like, I’m really surprised over how upset I am over this. They basically paraded her, Viola, around Hollywood over a role you could tell she had issues for, a role she really had to defend as a part of her job, because those are the roles you get as a black actress. They basically spent months patting themselves on the back for doing so, and they still don’t give her the damn award.
They gave it to an actress they know they’ll nominate again in the next couple years. Like, that’s just lower than low. Like, not even the Devil would tolerant that mess.
